SOLAR WINDOW FILM

Attention to Detail

Whether in your home or your office space, windows are a necessity as people enjoy the natural light and views they allow. Although windows are a staple in architecture, letting the sun’s light into your space can have drawbacks. The fading of furniture and flooring, glare, uncomfortable temperatures, and high energy bills can all be the result of sunlight through your windows. However, solar window film provides a solution to these issues. While drapes and blinds can block out the light, they act as a heat source. Window film allows natural light to enter your space while mitigating the harmful effects from the sun. Feel at ease with solar window film, protecting floorings and furnishings around the clock.

PRIVACY/DECORATIVE WINDOW FILM

  • Protect your privacy. Subtle to bold privacy, visual enhancement or improved work environment.

  • Matte, Blackout and Mirror Film give you three ways to achieve additional privacy at your home or business.

  • White Matte Translucent Film offers subtle privacy and enhances the aesthetics of the work environment.

  • Blackout Film helps provide the ultimate in privacy.

  • Mirror Film offers a very high reflection to give a mirror-like appearance.

  • Privacy Films are only a fraction of the cost of new glass.

  • Recommended for interior use only.

The advantages of etched, cut, sandblasted, textured, blackout, or one-way mirrors are clear: enhanced safety and security can be provided through privacy. These matte, blackout, and mirror films limit views through glass on the building interior. Because these films come in rolls, they can be cut into numerous decorative designs, and can provide an updated look, while maintaining the privacy desired.

SECURITY WINDOW FILM

Protect Your Home Against Break-ins

Much like a screen protector on a smart phone, security window film is a shatter resistant POLYESTER or PET application meant to hold together a glass pane within a window frame which has been impacted, so that a shard of glass won't cause more damage to your home. This drastically slows down or even prevents potential break-ins but can also protect doors and windows from less nefarious sources like rowdy teenagers and golf balls. Films come in a variety of thicknesses from 2mm to 21mm but need to be 8mm or above to be considered “Security” films. If they are less than 8mm they are considered “Safety” films and are more appropriate in applications where the main goal is to contain broken glass rather than prevent breakage altogether. Regardless of thickness the films are generally simple to install and last for years. Best of all they are virtually unnoticeable once in place, unless one opts for a decorative finish. Films can often be installed by the homeowner, but it is recommended that thicker products be installed professionally for your protection. Though there are many films available, for the best quality we recommend purchasing from one of these trusted manufacturers.
For easy comparison we will look specifically at 8mm, and 12 mm thickness products sized to fit the average glass door, but all of the below films come in multiple sizes at corresponding price points. They all offer 90% visible light transmittance, so the average person would not notice any reduction in light. The reduced light may, however, lead to reduce energy costs in heating and cooling. They also block 99% of UV rays.
